National Night Out
National Night Out is a favorite community event for Byrnes Mill Police Department and the City of Byrnes Mill. Hosted by those who serve residents 24-hours a day, National Night Out is a nationwide initiative to bring communities together to stand against crime, set each year on the first Tuesday of August.
Byrnes Mill Police Department works many months to plan this free event, open to residents, their family and surrounding communities. A number of organizations and community groups come together to ensure the success of the event, geared towards people of all ages.
In addition to meeting Byrnes Mill police officers, people are able to meet members of the High Ridge Fire Protection District, North Jefferson County Ambulance District, Big River Ambulance District, and 9-1-1 Dispatch.
Members of the Jefferson County Drug Coalition will also be on hand to safely dispose of prescription drugs and answer questions as part of their Drug Take Back Program.

Some of the community favorites include the dunking booth and food from Company B BBQ. The City would like to thank everyone who continue to make this event a success from the volunteers, businesses, organizations, and attendees who make it all worthwhile!
National Night Out is held every year on the 1st Tuesday in October from 4:00-7:00 pm at Spring Hills Presbyterian Church. Check the calendar for more details!
