Information Regarding Byrnes Mill Municipal Court Procedures

As the State slowly begins to open, the Courts have been given the green-light to begin in-person court appearances again.  With that being said, we will still need to follow the guidelines set out by the CDC as well as the Governor and the Supreme Court of the State of Missouri.

The Honorable Judge Colby Smith-Hynes and staff hope you are doing well during this pandemic and these trying times.  It has certainly changed and will change, the way we do court procedures in the future.  Our number one priority will continue to be the safety and health of our staff and you, the public.

The following policies will be in effect until further notice for the municipal division of the City of Byrnes Mill.

  • Masks and social distancing will be required at all times while in the building.
  • It will be your responsibility to check the City website the day of your scheduled court appearance for any last-minute cancelations or changes.
  • The Court Clerk may be working remotely so if you call please leave a message and it will be returned.
  • If you are currently on the payment docket, your case(s) will not continue.  Payments are due on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.  Payments can be mailed, dropped off at City Hall in the dropbox on the outside of the building, or paid online or by phone.  Please call the court if you have any questions.
