Update 3/25/20: In addition to canceling all City and Public meetings the City Hall lobby is now closed to the public. In the event of an emergency please call 911. Employees are working remotely most days but are checking their voicemails and emails regularly. If you receive a voicemail please leave a message with your phone number and we will return your call. The Police Department also has a Ring doorbell in the front of City Hall that they are able to answer if anyone arrives and needs assistance.

3/16/20: Out of an abundance of caution the City of Byrnes Mill has decided that until further notice all City and Public meetings held at City Hall are canceled. This includes the Board of Alderpersons meeting scheduled for March 18, 2020 and any public meeting such as Homeowner’s Association meetings held at City Hall.
In an effort to limit contact, City Hall will install a drop box next week for payments, paperwork. You may also apply/pay for a license or permit in the drop box and leave a court payment.
To ensure the safety of both staff and the general public the Byrnes Mill Municipal Court will not hold its scheduled court dates in March. All payments due in March will not be continued and must be made either through mail by check or money order, or through the payment center by calling 1-800-444-1187 or visiting www.trafficpayment.com. Any case which is not on the payment docket will be continued to May 12, 2020 at 6:00 pm.
We will continue to remain in contact with public health officials and keep residents updated with new information as it becomes available. Thank you to the community for your support and partnership in this effort and do not hesitate to contact us for your needs.
