Our first market
of the 2011 season on May 27 was
a huge success . .. . lots of
return customers and many new
customers from Highway 30
stopped in to browse and shop.
Our 13 vendors sold seasonal
vegetables, fresh breads,
pastries, jellies, olive oil,
home made soaps, crafted
jewelry, wood products, farm
fresh eggs and even live
bunnies.
Other vendors stopped by to see
if they could join us. We may
have as many as 18 vendors in
the next few markets. |

Members of BIC
volunteer every other Friday to
host the event, which is
organized by Market Master Susan
Gibson. Traffic from Highway 30
and surrounding areas greatly
increased visitors to the
Market.
